Good Sunday, folks. Showers and thunderstorms are moving back into the bluegrass state today and will hang around for a while. The action will be scattered in nature, but a few of the storms may be big boomers. All of this heads into a work week of big weather changes.
Let’s get into it.
Humidity levels increase today and that leads to some of the storms going up. As mentioned, these will be scattered in nature, but may provide a lot of lightning and heavy rainfall.
For your tracking needs:
The threat for showers and storms will be with us through the middle of the week. That doesn’t mean it’s going to rain everyday, but there’s a chance each day. The muggy air and toasty temps will rule the weather outside of the boomers.
A BIG change looks to be on the way by the end of the week as a cold front works in here.
This looks to bring the coolest shot of air we’ve had since back in the spring.
That would be an impressive blast of cool with highs near 70 and lows deep into the 40s. I’ll take that every day of the week.
Make it a great Sunday and take care.
