Good Friday, everyone. The weather word of the day is WOW! A big time blast of fall air has invaded central and eastern Kentucky and this will carry us into the weekend. This will bring the coolest air we’ve had since spring. We could even threaten a few record low temps.
Let’s break it all down…
- Temps today will top out in the upper 60s to low 70s with low humidity levels and a partly sunny sky.
- High school football fans should take a sweatshirt as temps will drop into the 50s during the 4th quarter.
- Lows for Saturday and Sunday will drop into the low 40s for many areas. This will put us within reach of record lows.
- Highs for Saturday will only reach the upper 60s for many. If you’re heading out to Commonwealth Stadium for the Cats big game, the weather looks awesome.
Be sure to slap on the sunscreen if you heading out there.
Sunday’s weather looks equally as nice with highs back into the middle 70s with some high clouds moving in.
