Good Tuesday, everyone. The first part of the month was fairly tame by weather standards. That innocent pattern is usually difficult to maintain for an entire month. Scattered storms are set to return as early as Wednesday.
Tuesday’s weather will feature more of the good stuff. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s, with a mix of sun and clouds. Those clouds will increase a bit during the afternoon and evening, and scattered showers won’t be too far behind. The action tomorrow will be scattered, but it could put down locally heavy rains. Temps will be tricky because of the rain chances. Areas that have rain might struggle to get out of the 60s.
We make a run at 80 for the rest of the week as humidity levels increase. The threat of showers and storms will remain and should ramp up by Friday and Saturday. That’s when the jet stream takes big dip across the eastern part of the country:
That front might end up slowing down just a bit. If that’s the case, showers and storms could linger into much of the weekend as cooler air returns.
Have a great Tuesday and take care.
