Mid-week moisture moves in

Good Tuesday to one and all. We have another fairly nice weather day taking shape across our part of the world. Get out and take full advantage of it, because showers and storms are inching closer today. The rain will move in over the next few days.

Today will feature clouds increasing, with highs in the low to middle 70s for much of Central and Eastern Kentucky.

Showers and isolated storms increase Tuesday night, and the NAM future radar is picking up on this:

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will hang around through Wednesday, so keep the umbrellas around. Thursday might start with a morning shower, but the sun should return by the afternoon. Highs will top out in the middle 70s.

Friday looks great, with highs in the upper 70s under partly sunny skies. That’s when we turn our attention toward a cold front moving into the region from the northwest. That blows through here on Sunday:

EuroThat should mean a split weekend of weather, with Saturday looking nice and Sunday featuring some storms.

Much cooler air moves in as we head into early next week.

Have a great day and take care.
