Good Thursday, folks. We have a fantastic stretch of weather rolling into central and eastern Kentucky over the next few days. While we enjoy the pleasant temps and sunshine, I’m already watching our next cold front that will impact the weekend forecast.
The outlook for the rest of the week is pretty straightforward. Skies will be sunny today with highs in the middle 70s. Readings will warm into the upper 70s to around 80 degrees for Friday.
The weekend will start off on a great note with near 80 degree highs for Saturday. A few clouds will increase by the end of the day with gusty southwesterly winds kicking in. Things continue to look great for the first night game at Commonwealth Stadium:
Temps on Sunday will be in the upper 60s to around 70 for highs. This won’t be a washout of a day, but the scattered showers may hang around into early Monday.
The pattern for next week will continue to be on that looks a little active. The jet stream is fairly energetic and is itching to amplify. The GFS continues to point toward a huge dip in the jet late next week into the following weekend:
