Good Tuesday, folks. We have another fantastic fall weather day taking shape across central and eastern Kentucky. The pleasant weather looks to hang around for most of the week. Most of the week may not mean the entire week. A system across the east coast is going to try to throw some mid week moisture into parts of the state.
Temps today will top out in the middle 60s for many areas. This will come after a chilly start to the day with temperatures dropping close to 40. Can a few spots hit the upper 30s? Follow the lows from the Kentucky Mesonet:
Wednesday will see a bit of an increase in clouds from the east and some of these clouds may produce a shower or two. This moisture is from a slow moving storm across the east coast. The future radar from the NAM shows what I’m talking about:
The weekend starts great with low 70s for Saturday as the dry weather holds tough. That should make for a pretty good weather evening out at Commonwealth Stadium with Alabama coming to town.
A cold front arrives Sunday with the threat for a shower or thunderstorm.
Have a wonderful day and take care.
