Near record lows by Friday

Good Wednesday, weather peeps. Some nasty weather continues to push across the commonwealth today. This will continue into Thursday and may give some areas a small taste of winter. Once this passes… near record lows will be possible Friday and Saturday.

A system working across the Ohio Valley with throw chilly showers our way today. There is a small chance we could see a wet snowflake mixing in across the north and east. Your weather trackers for the day:

Temps will likely stay in the 40s for afternoon highs. We may clear the skies for a bit this evening, but another system dives into the area by Thursday morning. This will cause another round of chilly showers to break out. Just like today, a wet snowflake will be possible… especially in the north and east.

Once this gets out of town… look out. Temps will tank and may approach record levels by Friday morning. Mid 20s will be a strong possibility for Friday and Saturday mornings. Here’s the NAM forecast lows:

NAMA hard freeze will put an end to the growing season around here. Frost will penetrate all the way into the deep south.
