Christmas Day Weather Tracker

Merry Christmas, everyone. Our big day is a very cold one across the bluegrass state as temps stay well below normal. Can we see a couple of snowflakes? It’s a possibility for some.

Some quick weather headlines:

- Lows this morning will be in the teens with afternoon highs in the 30s.

- A quick moving system hangs to our north, but may throw a few flakes into the northern half of the state.

- Another shot of cold arrives later tonight into Thursday with temps closer to freezing for highs. This may be accompanied by a band of light snow and flurries.

- A bit of a mild up blows in by the start of the weekend, but that all comes crashing down behind a arctic front arriving for Sunday.
