Good Friday everyone. Our week started with sub-zero temperatures and it’s ending with thermometers pushing 50 degrees. Ahhh… you have to love Kentucky weather. As we roll into the weekend, it’s looking like a half and half setup.
A couple of showers will still be around early in the day as a warm front lifts to the north. Skies will become partly sunny as temps head toward the low 50s for some areas. Winds will gust up, but it’s hard to complain about a day like this.
A cold front will quickly work into the region later tonight and early Saturday. A band of moderate to heavy rain will be along and ahead of this front:
Sunday looks to be a very nice day with highs in the 40-45 degree range with partly sunny skies.
All models not named the GFS bring a system our way from the south late Monday into Tuesday. The European Model continues to show a rain to snow maker…
We will keep a close eye on that setup as it could turn into something a little bigger. That’s followed by a nice shot of cold for the middle and end of next week.
Make it a great day and take care.
