Good Saturday, everyone. Rounds of light snow are working across central and eastern Kentucky this weekend. This is a trend that will likely carry us into much of next week. That’s when these systems will try to pack a little more of a punch.
Light snow early today will generally be an inch or less along and north of Interstate 64. An inch or two will be possible the farther southeast you live. This may be enough to cause some slick spots on roads.
Flurries will be possible later this afternoon with temps in the 20s for highs.
Another round of light snow will be possible into Sunday:
Highs Sunday will be back in the 20s. We will then turn our attention toward another system moving in for Monday. Some of the models are showing a more significant system. The NAM is among them:
Some of the models do not show this system and that is a model battle we will let play out over the weekend. For now… let’s track the light snow we have out there early today.
