Good Sunday, everyone. Daylight Saving Time has arrived and that means we sacrifice an hour of sleep for another hour of daylight. The timing on this is perfect because we have a few nice weather days ahead of us. It won’t stay nice for long as changes work in for the later half of the week.
Today will feature increasing amounts of sunshine as temps cool down some from the past few days. Highs from the upper 40s to around 50 will be likely.
That won’t last long as temps take off for Monday. Highs will hit the low 60s for most of the state under mainly sunny skies. Tuesday will be even warmer with readings flirting with 70 degrees.
The changes begin on Wednesday as a strong storm rolls across the state. Gusty winds and heavy rain could end as snow as colder air works in late Wednesday into Thursday:
Take a look at the impressive temperature swing as this system passes through our region:
Thermometers should rebound fairly quickly by Friday and Saturday and could hit the 50s to near 60.
Enjoy the extra sunshine of today and take care.
