Good Monday everyone. Old Man Winter continues to cause problems across the bluegrass state. It’s another snow day for many after another winter storm dumped snow and ice on the region last night. So much for the luck of the Irish!
Our Saint Patrick’s Day is starting with slick roads and temps close to 20 degrees. Things will improve as we go throughout the day and that means a lot of melting. Partly sunny skies will boost temps into the low and middle 40s.
Tuesday’s weather looks even better with temps surging toward the low and mid 60s on a gusty west and southwesterly wind. This will be ahead of a stout little cold front swinging in early Wednesday:
That will bring a few showers and very gusty winds our way. Temps will chill down behind that front and then rebound to the 60s by the end of the week. That’s a nice little yo-yo pattern for the week ahead.
That yo-yo may get stuck at the bottom as we go into late this weekend and next week. Check out the 5 day average temperature anomaly across the country:
Enjoy the day and take care.
