Good Saturday, everyone. The unofficial kickoff to summer is the Memorial Day Weekend and our temps are about to take off toward summer levels. That bodes well for folks who are out and about enjoying the outdoors over the next few days.
Highs today will run from the mid to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies. Low humidity levels will continue and that will just add to the pleasant feel.
The humidity levels will begin to rise on Sunday as temps head toward the low 80s. A few late day clouds will be noted. The increase in humidity will lead to scattered storms trying to crank up for Memorial Day:
The threat for scattered storms looks to be with us just about each day next week as we hang on to a very warm and humid pattern. The stormy look is something the super-duper long range models are trying to really ramp up through June. The CFS rainfall forecast shows no shortage of drops:
