A warm and stormy week ahead

Good Sunday to one and all. Gorgeous weather rolls on across the region as folks are out and about enjoying the Memorial Day Weekend. The nice weather of today will soon give way to a warm, muggy and stormy pattern for the new week ahead.

High temps today will work toward the low 80s with a touch more humidity in the mix. We could even see a few clouds rolling in with a shower or thunderstorm across western Kentucky.

Memorial Day looks much better with thermometers warming well into the 80s:

Moisture will continue to increase and that will likely lead to a scattering of afternoon showers and thunderstorms going up. Once the scattered stuff arrive… it looks to stick around for most of the week.

The GFS shows the clusters of storms I’m talking about:

GFSThe threat for showers and storms should hang tough through the end of next week as our pattern takes a walk on the stormy side. Highs in the 80s with high humidity levels will be noted each day.

I lave you with a dose of the Sunday weather trackers:

Have a great Sunday and take care.
