Good Monday, everyone. Here’s hoping you are enjoying our Memorial Day as we honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The weather over most of the holiday weekend has been nice, but that is starting to change.
A scattering of showers and thunderstorms will develop today and this action will take us through the much of the week. While today isn’t a washout, these storms could interrupt those outdoor plans. Highs today will be in the 80-85 degree range with much more humidity in the air.
Your holiday weather trackers will help you plan the day:
Rainfall since midnight
As mentioned, this is a pattern featuring a daily threat for showers and storms. It’s not going to rain the whole time, but scattered storms will show up each and every day through the end of the week.
The reason for this is the flow is coming from the western Gulf Of Mexico:
Locally heavy rains will be likely with any storm that goes up and a few could be on the strong side. Highs will continue to run on the warm side with a lot of middle 80s with high humidity levels.
Have a great and safe holiday. Take care.
