Weekend weather update

Good Saturday and welcome to the weekend. Rounds of showers and storms have been common across central and eastern Kentucky over the past few days. This is all part of a pattern that will continue to feature a daily storm threat.

Today shouldn’t feature as many showers and storms, but some locally heavy rainfall will be possible. We should see plenty of dry hours out there as temps head back into the middle 80s.

Sunday will see another shot at scattered storms rolling in from the west. Here’s the NAM Simulated Radar:

NAM Highs by Monday will head back toward 90 degrees with an increase in humidity levels. A scattered shower or storm will also be possible. The storm chance will ramp back up for the rest of next week:
