Good Monday to one and all. Showers and thunderstorms are set to increase across our region Monday. The chance of rain will be around every day this week, and we should see broader rain coverage than what we had last week. Monday’s highs will flirt with 90 before showers and storms develop. High humidity levels will lead to an increase in the heavy rain potential from these storms. A couple of strong boomers will be possible. I have you all set to do a little Monday storm tracking: Showers and storms look to become much more widespread as we roll into Tuesday: The European Model shows how the showers and storms continue to dominate the pattern in the coming days: I suspect there will be some local high-water problems before the week is finished. As far as temperatures go, highs will mainly be in the muggy 80s, with lows dropping into the 60s. Have a great Monday and take care.
