Good Saturday, everyone. A hearty hello to the thousands and thousands of NASCAR fans who are calling Kentucky home for the weekend. The Kentucky Speedway is the place to be today for the Quaker State 400. Unfortunately, showers and storms may play a big role in tonight’s race.
I do have a bit of good news for you… the blog is set to be your one-stop shop for tracking today’s showers and storms.
Here’s a brief breakdown of how things look:
– Rounds of showers and storms move across the region today. These will be tropical in nature and could put down some very heavy rains.
– Scattered showers and storms will carry us into Sunday with highs back into the 80s.
– A big change toward cooler and drier weather appears to be in the making for the second half of next week. Could it be a pleasant 4th of July? That’s certainly possible.
