Great weather for back to school

Good Wednesday, folks. Another school year is getting started in Fayette county and several other districts and the weather looks great. This is about as good as it can possibly get for day one of a new school year.

The only drawback comes this morning with some dense fog. Keep that in mind if you’re out driving. Temps will generally run in the mid and upper 50s to start the day with mid and upper 70s to end it. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny.

A weak front moves in for Thursday and will bring a chance for isolated showers and storms. Temps will mainly be in the upper 70s for highs.

The weekend starts great with highs in the low 80s for Friday and Saturday as we hang on to the sunshine. The end of the weekend will feature a weak wave of low pressure scooting in from the west. That can touch off some scattered showers and thunderstorms through Monday:
