Good Wednesday, everyone. Our stormy pattern is taking a brief break across Central and Eastern Kentucky. This means we have a couple of mostly dry days settling into our region. It’s not going to last long, so make sure to get out and enjoy it.
A weak cold front is working to our south and bringing much better weather into town. Highs today will range from the low to middle 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. I still can’t rule out a shower or thunderstorm popping up across the south and east.
Thursday looks a little warmer and more humid with highs in the mid to upper 80s. There will be a small chance for isolated showers and storms going up.
Our storm chances increase into Friday as a slow-moving cold front works our way from the northwest. This front moves in over the weekend with a big increase in showers and storms. Saturday looks particularly stormy:
That won’t last very long because additional rounds of showers and storms develop by the middle of next week:
This looks like a soggy September in the making.
Have a great Wednesday and take care.
