Great weather continues across Kentucky

Good Tuesday, folks. The first day of fall is off and running with much colder than normal temperatures across our region. This is also a very boring time of year in the world of weather. But, boring for me means it’s good for you.

Temps are the big story of the morning as many areas start in the 40-45 degree range. That’s the coldest we’ve been since back in springtime. Afternoon readings will top out in the upper 60s with another big blue sky and plenty of sunshine.

The rest of the week continues to look amazing with high pressure ruling our weather from the northeast:

Highs will run in the 70s with overnight lows dropping into the upper 40s to low 50s. That nice weather should hang around into the start of the weekend and that bodes well for the Cats game at home.

The pattern will begin to change a bit as we head into late Sunday and Monday. This is when a system from the Gulf tries to work our way:

GFSThe track of that system could bring some decent rains our way during this time.

Have a terrific Tuesday and take care.
