More of the same

Good Wednesday, everyone. I don’t have enough words to describe how awesome the weather is across our region. Sunny and mild afternoons with clear and crisp nights are making for a perfect period of fall weather.

Highs today will hit the middle 70s across most of central and eastern Kentucky. We should do that a little better with upper 70s for Thursday and Friday. Lows will hit the upper 40s to lower 50s.

How about the weekend? That continues to look pretty darn good with upper 70s to around 80 on Saturday. This is wonderful news for Wildcat fans heading out to Commonwealth Stadium to watch the Cats and the Commodores.

Sunday will see some clouds increasing as a system from the Gulf of Mexico begins to roll our way. The European Model is pretty enthusiastic with the rain chances into early next week:

Euro The focus will then turn toward a strong cold front barreling our way in the first few days of October:

Euro 2

That could bring another round of showers and thunderstorms with a big temperature drop to follow.

Enjoy the day and take care.
