Good Friday to one and all. The final weekend of September is upon us, and Mother Nature is giving us more good weather. Temperatures will be on the warm side over the next few days. This bodes well for high school and college football fans.
Highs Friday will be close to 80 degrees. If you’re heading out to watch some high school football this evening, temps will slowly drop toward the upper 60s by late in the game.
Saturday’s forecast continues to look very similar to Friday. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny, with a little more of a breeze kicking up. Wear the sunscreen if you’re heading to Commonwealth Stadium:
There will be a few clouds sneaking in during the afternoon and evening as moisture streams in from the south. This is from a disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico that slowly lifts to the north late Sunday and Monday.
The models aren’t as certain as before with the chances of rain, but they do show some scattered showers sneaking in. Here’s the NAM future radar by Sunday evening.:
Those could carry us into Monday as this system passes mainly to our south and east. Another blast of windy and warm weather pushes in for the first few days of October, but a big cold front might put an end to all that by next weekend.
Have a great day and take care.
