Our stormy pattern continues

Good Thursday, folks. It’s another day of tracking showers and thunderstorms across the Bluegrass State. Our soggy summer shows no signs of changing, as rounds of showers and thunderstorms keep coming at us.

Thursday’s scattered storms will be with us during the afternoon and evening, especially. That’s when a cold front drops into our region. Locally heavy downpours will be likely.

Another system moves in later Friday and could bring a few more rounds of storms into Saturday:

GFSVery tropical air will be with us this weekend. Even as actual temps stay close to normal, the heat index will really surge.

Our jet stream starts to change by Monday and that means… wait for it… more storms!
