Good Thursday, folks. We have some awesome weather rolling in behind a strong cold front. This front will zip through, with showers and storms sweeping eastward by the middle of the day.
Afternoon temps will be in the upper 60s, with skies becoming partly cloudy. Winds will be gusty, and that will add to the coolness of the air.
This is one deep trough across our region:
Friday’s weather looks great with lows in the 50s and highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. That bodes very well for the start of the high school football season. Kickoff temps will be near 75, dropping to the upper 60s by the second half.
Saturday looks good with 50s in the morning and upper 70s to low 80s in the afternoon.
Another cold front sweeps in by late Sunday and Monday with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Much cooler air moves in behind another deep trough:
Have a great day and take care.
