Tracking some big changes

Good Tuesday to one and all. Labor Day is now in our rear view mirror and we’re headed toward fall. The same can be said about our weather as we get ready to leave the steamy weather behind. Much cooler and wetter weather is on the way to Central and Eastern Kentucky.

The changes begin Wednesday, as a cold front moves closer to the region. Showers and thunderstorms will increase, and a few of the storms could be on the strong side. Look at how widespread the action is on the NAM future radar:

NAMBeneficial rain looks like a likely bet for Wednesday and Thursday, with some areas getting better than an inch of rain. Temps will come down during this time as well.

Low pressure should develop and work our way by the weekend as a blast of fall air arrives. This low could mean soggy conditions for Saturday. Check out the European Model:

Make it a terrific Tuesday and take care.
