Watching the East Coast late this week

Good Tuesday to one and all. We continue with absolutely gorgeous fall weather across Central and Eastern Kentucky. We’ve been living a charmed life over the past few weeks, and we have more of the same ahead.

That said, we have to watch and see what happens with an area of low pressure along the East Coast late this week.

High temps Tuesday through Thursday will generally be in the 70s, with overnight lows dropping into the low 50s. Skies will stay partly cloudy with a northeasterly breeze.

Here’s the setup to keep an eye on:


That low tries to back toward the west by Friday and the weekend. That would bring the threat for a few showers our way. The latest rainfall forecast from the GFS shows this possibility:

CanadianAt this time, I am not buying into that much rain around here. Let’s just say there’s a chance of some showers and watch it from here.
