Good Wednesday, everyone. We continue to enjoy some very nice weather across Central and Eastern Kentucky, and that hangs around for a few more days. All of that changes in a big way this weekend as wet weather returns. This could set the stage for a very active final week of October.
Wednesday will feature highs in the low 70s for much of Central and Eastern Kentucky, with plenty of sunshine. Here’s the outlook for the Lexington metro:
A cold front moves in Saturday, with an increase in showers and thunderstorms. This wet weather is likely to carry us into Sunday as highs drop into the upper 50s.
The next system comes in a few days later than that and could bring more rain and even colder weather our way:
