It’s a soggy weekend in the bluegrass

Good Saturday to one and all. Rain continues to overspread the region today and this ugly weather is likely to carry us into the first half of next week. Sunshine is going to be in limited supply during this time.

Today’s rain increases from west to east and could be heavy at times. Make sure to take your poncho to Commonwealth Stadium for the Cats-cards game.

I have you all set to track the wet weather and travel conditions:

The rains continue to come at us in waves from Sunday through Tuesday. All tolled, the models continue to advertise a general 1″-3″ rain for much of central and eastern Kentucky:

Colder air sweeps in behind the rain for the middle and end of next week. Even then, I don’t see anything but a seasonal chill in the air.

Have a great Saturday and take care.
