Good Wednesday to one and all. Arctic air is in place across the region but will give way to some milder temps over the next few days. Don’t get spoiled by it, because another surge of arctic air will move in later this weekend and early next week.
Highs Wednesday will run in the 20s under a mix of sun and clouds. Highs by Thursday hit the mid- and upper 40s, with late clouds increasing. Those clouds are ahead of a rain-maker for Friday.
A double-barrel low-pressure system works in Friday, with rain for our region. Colder air them spills in behind this system as a low on the east coast takes over. That gives us a transition to some light snow and snow showers:
