Good Friday, folks. We have a blast of March air across the region over the next few days. March is famous for the gusty winds, and that’s exactly what we are seeing out there Friday.
A wind advisory is out for much of the region through the afternoon. Gusts of 40 to 45 mph will be noted at times. Highs should hit 60 degrees in many areas. Highs in the low 60s are possible Saturday with a chance of showers. That’s especially true early in the day:

Temps start to drop late Sunday and Monday ahead of a big dip in the jet stream next week. That will feature colder weather diving into the eastern part of the country, and that could spawn a sizable storm system in the east.
