Good Saturday, everyone. We have another cold front marching across the region today. This is bringing another round of ugly weather to central and eastern Kentucky. Once we get past this, spring conditions really take control into next week.
Today will be a raw Saturday with gusty winds, scattered showers and below normal temps. Highs may not get out of the 40s as the front moves in.
Sunday starts cold with upper 20s to low 30s under lingering clouds. Skies become partly sunny during the afternoon with highs hitting 50-55 degrees in most areas.
The real spring warmth arrives on Monday as highs reach the upper 60s in most areas. 70 degree high temps look likely after that and this air is will be rather humid for this time of year.
That setup is likely to bring rounds of thunderstorms our way next week. The models continue to advertise the potential for very high rain totals over the next week and change:
Have a great Saturday and take care.
