Good Friday to one and all. Our weekend is upon us and it’s looking like the threat of scattered showers and storms will continue. This comes as our warm weather pattern rolls on across the region.
Our day will start with low clouds and leftover showers, and highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. Afternoon clearing will help boost highs into the low 60s in many areas.
A warm front lifts to the north Friday night and early Saturday. That might have a band of showers and thunderstorms along and north of it. Much warmer air will follow for Saturday, with highs in the 70s:
Additional heavy showers and thunderstorms come in later Saturday and Sunday.
Warm air takes us through the first half of next week. Once toward the end of the week, it looks is if the spring party is over:
