Good Monday, everyone. Our spring pattern rolls on across the region for the next few days. All of that changes later in the week as chilly changes show up. There’s even some indication of a touch of winter trying to make a comeback.
Highs Monday reach the 60s, with gusty showers and thunderstorms rumbling across the region. Another round of showers and storms shows up late Tuesday as a stronger cold front approaches from the west.
The Storm Prediction Center is highlighting the possibility of a few strong storms:
Chillier air follows that up for the end of the week into the weekend. This is when the pattern takes on much more of a winter look. Here’s the European model:

Flakes flying or not, That’s a rather ugly weather pattern across our part of the world. Sigh.
