Good Sunday, everyone. Below-normal temps will continue across the region for the next few days. This may even cause some issues for all the very early season blooms and buds later Sunday night and Monday morning.
Temps by then should drop into the middle 20s in much of the region:
Green thumbs should take precautions.
Before we get to that point, a few areas could pick up on a touch of rain or snow showers early today. The most likely chance of that will be across the west and south. Some afternoon sun should boost temperatures into the middle to upper 40s.
Monday afternoon looks much better, with some sunshine and highs in the low 50s.
Low 60s will be possible by Tuesday, with 70-degree highs possible for Wednesday and Thursday. That will be ahead of a strong cold front sweeping in by Thursday night:
Some strong thunderstorms will be possible with this type of setup. Much colder air will then flow back in by Sunday and into the weekend.
That’s all part of a very busy and active temperature pattern for the rest of the month. The back and forth temperature setup should carry us all the way into early April.
Enjoy your Sunday and take care.
