Up-and-down pattern ahead

Good Monday to one and all. This time of year is famous for some big temperature swings, and that’s exactly what we have for you over the next few weeks. Several strong cold fronts look to make sure no one temperature pattern becomes established.

Monday starts cold, with temps in the mid- and upper 20s. It ends on a much better note, with readings in the low 50s with a mix of sun and clouds.

Tuesday should see highs hitting the 60s as winds become more southwesterly. Those southwesterly winds gust on Wednesday as we await the arrival of a cold front. That front blasts through on Thursday:

GFS 2Strong storms and gusty winds will be possible as this system works in from the west. Much colder air is set to follow for the start of Easter weekend.

Looking down the roads toward the final few days of March into the beginning of April, we find a rather ugly look on the WeatherBELL ensembles:

That’s not a good look for true spring lovers across the eastern part of the country.
