Good Tuesday to one and all. We have some nice weather across the Bluegrass State for the next couple of days. After that, things begin to get much more active later in the week. That’s a pattern that might very well cause some problems for those Easter egg hunts.
Highs Tuesday will reach 60 to 65 degrees under a partly sunny sky.
It looks as if temps will reach only the 60s as we roll into Wednesday. That’s when some late-day clouds roll into the region ahead of a strong cold front. That front is likely to produce a band of gusty showers and thunderstorms for Thursday:
Much colder air will surge into the region behind that front on Friday. Highs will reach only the upper 40s and low 50s.
Saturday looks good, with highs reaching the 60s.
I wish I could say the same for Easter Sunday. It’s looking more and more as if rain will be on the increase from southwest to northwest:
If the models are correct, the Easter Bunny might be need a raincoat.
The longer-range pattern might be setting the stage for some very cold shots of air as we flip the calendar to April.
Make it a great day and take care.
