Good Saturday to one and all. We have several cold shots of air invading the bluegrass state over the next week and change. Each of these will bring frost and freezing conditions to our part of the world.
The next front arrives this evening with a small shower chance. Ahead of this front, winds will really increase and gusts could reach 45mph at times. This could cause a few issues across the region.
Those winds blow in much colder air with a hard freeze likely by Sunday morning. Another front arrives late Monday and unleashes even colder air. Look at the numbers from the GFS:
A stronger system impacts the weather by Wednesday and Thursday with showers and thunderstorms giving way to cold…
There’s the chance for some snowflakes on a strong northwesterly flow later Thursday. That would be followed by another night of freezing temperatures into Friday morning.
Make it a great Saturday and take care.
