Good Tuesday, everyone. For those of us ready for true springtime, Mother Nature has something else in mind. She and Old Man Winter are hooking up later this week to give us a very ugly pattern. It’s a pattern that can give us historically cold temperatures and some snowflakes.
Let’s start with Tuesday. There’s a small chance of a snow flurry early in the morning in parts of the region. Temperatures will be the big story, with most areas seeing lows in the upper 20s and low 30s. That’s another hard freeze to start the day.
Temps will spike some on Wednesday as showers and thunderstorms blow in. This action is ahead of a system that looks to be straight out of the heart of winter:
