Good Saturday, folks. Our frigid start to April rolls on with a few snowflakes and arctic cold. While the numbers should come up over the next week, we’re still going to be below normal.
A few snow shower or flurries will be possible out there through the first half of our day. Temps start in the 20s and end with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s. Gusty winds will make it feel much colder.
Track another winter-like day:
Sunday starts with another hard freeze, with lows in the middle 20s in some areas. Clouds increase during the afternoon with a small chance of a shower. Much of the rain should hold off until Sunday night and Monday:
Colder air comes surging in behind that by Monday night into Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday might struggle to get to 50 degrees. This could set the stage for additional mornings in the upper 20s:
That’s some more ugly looking temperatures showing up. The pattern is threatening to turn mild late next week and the following weekend.
