Good Monday, everyone. We have another cold front getting ready to cross the Bluegrass State, and it’s bringing more wind and showers. This ugly start to the week doesn’t mean that’s how the rest of the week will go. Believe it or not, much better weather is on the way.
Let’s break down the start of the week:
- Winds Monday will be very gusty and could reach 35 to 40 mph at times.
- Highs will spike into the 60s for most of Central and Eastern Kentucky, before crashing from northwest to southeast this evening.
- Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be noted, with the most likely chance coming this evening into the wee hours of Tuesday morning.
Track the day of weather:
Tuesday is dry and chilly, with temps in the low 30s to start and the low 50s to end.
Wednesday might start with lows in the upper 20s but should end with highs in the upper 50s for much of the region.
Temps then begin to take off as we inch closer to the weekend. Check out the forecast highs from the GFS:
Make it a great Monday and take care.
