Good Friday, everyone. This is shaping up to be a picture-perfect spring weekend in the Bluegrass State. Temps will turn toward the warm side, and it looks as if we keep the sunny skies. Bottom line: Get outside and enjoy!
Friday will find highs from the upper 60s to low 70s in most of the region. There is the smallest threat of a shower across the far south.
The weekend forecast looks even better:
- Saturday will start in the low 40s and end with highs from 70 to 75 degrees. Mostly sunny skies should rule the day.
- Sunday is even warmer, with highs in the middle to upper 70s possible as we keep the sunshine.
That’s about as good as it gets around here for this time of year.
That warmth carries us into Monday, with highs flirting with 80 degrees. I am tracking a weak cold front set to arrive Tuesday. This doesn’t look to have much, if any, precipitation with it, and the majority of the cooler air passes to our northeast:
Highs behind that will be in the 60s for a day or two, but highs in the 70s should return by the end of the week.
This could set the stage for an even warmer blast of air to come our way for the final week of the month:
Make it a fantastic Friday and take care.
