Good Sunday, weather weenies. We’re ready to put the wraps on one of the best spring weekends you will ever find around here. Can we keep this nice weather rolling on into the week ahead? That’s the million dollar question and I have the nickel answer.
Highs today should range from 75-80 degrees in most areas under mostly sunny skies.
Monday’s temps can hit the lower 80s into much of central and eastern Kentucky. The GFS forecast highs:
We stay warm and dry through Wednesday. That’s when we watch a system across the plains moving our way with the potential for some showers and thunderstorms. The best chance comes Thursday into Friday:
Most of the models indicate an inch or so of rain, but a few show some healthy totals:
The setup that follows for next weekend can turn even warmer than what we are currently seeing. Highs could flirt with 85 degrees in that type a pattern.
