Good Tuesday, everyone. We are enjoying one heck of a spring pattern that’s trying to look and feel more like summer. Enjoy it, because things are changing over the next few days. We’re going into a pattern than can produce some much needed rain around here.
Highs Tuesday will be back in the 80- to 85-degree range under mostly sunny skies.
The threat of a shower or thunderstorm increases later Wednesday as a Plains storm system moves our way. The most likely chance of showers and storms will come Thursday and early Friday:
Much warmer air moves in for the weekend, with highs making a run toward the 80s by Sunday. That carries us into early next week, but the pattern looks much more humid and threatening. This setup next week into early May is one that can produce multiple waves of showers and storms rumbling from the plains into the Ohio Valley:
