Good Monday, everyone. Rain is on the way back to the Bluegrass State, and it looks to come at us in waves through the weekend. It’s not going to rain all the time, with the driest weather around midweek.
Highs Monday will be in the 60s, with clouds increasing and the threat of some late-day showers. The steadiest rains arrive Monday night and take us into Tuesday, with locally heavy rains a likely bet.
We’re likely to see a bit of a break in the action later Wednesday and Thursday. Temps should climb during that time. It’s also going to be a good time to get out and do some yard work, because more rain is on the way for the weekend.
The European Model has a slow-moving system working across the region Friday and Saturday:
That can put down some locally heavy rains and give us another ugly weekend. That’s still a few days away, and we have some time to push that system to our east. Given, the trends of the past month, it’s hard to argue with what the above model shows.
Make it a magnificent Monday and take care.
