Primary Day weather tracker

Good Tuesday, folks. It’s a super-soggy Primary Day across the commonwealth. Waves of rain continue to push across the region, and to make matters worse, temps are on the very cool side of the thermometer. What an ugly May we have going!

Highs Tuesday will range from the mid- and upper 50s from the Interstate 64 corridor and north, to the upper 60s and low 70s far south.

Heavy rain will be a likely bet for many areas, and this will continue through early Wednesday. Rain totals of 1 to 2 inches will be possible during this time.

Thursday looks like the best day of the week, with sun and highs in the 70s. Enjoy it, because heavy rain and thunderstorms move back in for Friday. This action is likely to carry us into the weekend.

That could be an additional 1 to 3 inches of rain, with temps again in the below-normal range. Ugh!

I leave you with all your Election Day weather trackers:

Enjoy the day and take care.
