Good Tuesday, folks. A blast of September temperatures is moving into the region over the next few days. This is likely to bring us the best weather of the entire summer, so make plans to enjoy it. That’s especially given that heat and humidity return for the weekend.
Highs Tuesday will generally range from 70 to 75 for much of the region. Winds will be gusty, and there is a small threat of a shower or thunderstorm.
Highs on Wednesday will reach only the low 70s under mostly sunny skies.
Thursday is another nice-looking day, with highs in the mid and upper 70s with fair skies.
As the heat tries to build in from the west on Friday, a few thunderstorms may crash the party:
Highs in the low 90s will be possible this weekend as humidity levels start to increase. This hot weather will then give way to more thunderstorms as we head into early next week:
I suspect we are going to see a lot of this during the summer: Heat trying to build in, but getting cut off at the pass by thunderstorms.
Enjoy your Tuesday and take care.
