Good Thursday to one and all. We have had one heck of a run of great weather days across Central and Eastern Kentucky. Unfortunately, that’s coming to an end as heat and humidity surge into the region. This might give us our first 90-degree high of the young season.
Let’s start with Thursday. Highs will range from the upper 70s to around 80 in much of the region. Skies stay partly to mostly sunny.
Humidity really increases Friday as highs hit the middle 80s. There is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm, especially across the north and east.
Highs by Saturday should hit 90 or higher:
That’s some real deal summer heat building in, but a cold front tries to smack it down by Sunday and Monday:
That front could mean some scattered showers and thunderstorms, with temps coming down to more normal readings in the low and middle 80s.
From there, expect steamy and stormy conditions to settle back in to the Bluegrass State.
Enjoy your day and take care.
