A better brand of air

Good Saturday, everyone. We are getting in on some awesome weather across Central and Eastern Kentucky. This better brand of air looks to hang around through the weekend, and it means you should really get out and enjoy it.

If anything, the air on the way next week could be even better!

Highs Saturday will be in the 80- to 85-degree range for much of the region. Humidity will be low, with mostly sunny skies.

Sunday looks warmer, with highs in the mid- and upper 80s as the sun hangs tough. We have a possible high of 90 on Monday, but a strong cold front gets ready to take control by Tuesday:

Showers and thunderstorms will usher in much cooler air across the eastern half of the country. Look at how much real estate will be below normal:

That could give us a couple days with afternoon highs in the upper 70s. Lows by Thursday morning might hit 50 or lower across the eastern half of the state:

I will take that and run with it.

Make it a great day and take care.
