Strong to severe storms possible

Good Tuesday to one and all. We are back into a rather stormy pattern across Central and Eastern Kentucky. This pattern may deliver rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms over the next several days.

Here’s a breakdown of the next few days:

– A cold front dives in Tuesday, with showers and storms developing from north to south. Some could be severe, especially along and south of Interstate 64.

– Clusters of strong to severe storms develop to our northwest on Wednesday. These could roll toward the southeast and into our region.

– Another cold front moves in with the potential for a line of strong to severe storms.

We should catch a break in the storms by Friday, with hot and humid air lurking for the weekend. That should also be accompanied by scattered storms.
